Vision:
SKU is the first university establishing the Faculty of Food Science in Lao PDR while other universities have not established this faculty yet. It aims to:
1. Train bachelor academics with knowledge and experience of both theories and practical in order to contribute to the national development.
2. Train expansion academics and develop them with high quality to meet the Lao government’s policy or in each area.
3. Train academics with qualification and techniques for problem solving in tangibility and intangibility to adjust in their real life.
4. Train human resources with creativity and professional in order to meet socio-economic growth
5. Train human resources by focusing on knowledge, understanding, and attitudes for developing new economical plants in the present and also in the future.
6. Provide background knowledge and skills that enable students to study higher degree in the future.
